1950s/1960s black evening sweater, with scoop neckline trimmed with rhinestones and silver braid. Made by Thorncraft, London, England Actual measurements: Length from back of neck to hem 21" Side seam 12" Inside sleeve seam 14" Bust 34" The sweater stretches, so would comfortably fit the 38" bust size that it says on the label, for a tight "sweater girl" look. There are a few rhinestones missing, but this is only really apparent on close inspection and doesn't spoil the overall look of the sweater. |

Please see close-up images for more accurate colour of this dress. Mustard/gold coloured dress by D L Barron, London Sold by Jenners, Princes Street, Edinburgh UK size 16. Material - Crimplene Classic A-line shape with long centre back zipper and half-belt. Measurements : Bust 36", Hips 40", Centre back seam 40", Inner sleeve seam 17". Dress hem and one sleeve hem have been taken down - I have left them as is, so the buyer can alter the length to fit. There is a catch in the material across the back of the dress at waist level, which is largely hidden by the half-belt. The price reflects the condition of this classic 1960s dress. |

Very simple sleeveless sheath dress in a pale green lightweight fabric, brought out of the ordinary by a silvery rhinestone studded trim round the neckline and down one side of the front. Please note that the colour is more green that it appears in the photos. Centre back zipper. No labels - this is definitely a home-made dress. The trim is lightly hand-stitched in place - presumably as it would have to be removed before washing the dress. Measurements: Bust 36" Hips 38" Length 35" Zipper 20" |

Lovely sleeveless sheath dress in a heavy embossed yellow fabric. I'm not sure what this fabric is, but the pale lemony sections have a satin feel to them. This would be a great vintage dress for a special occasion such as a wedding. Measurements: Bust 34" Hips 40" Length 37" Zipper Length 21" No labels, but this dress is very well made so I'm thinking it was maybe made to measure by a dressmaker. Centre back zipper with hook and eye fastening. Neat little pockets concealed in the front seams just below hip level. Little cords with stud fastening in the shoulders to stop bra/slip straps from sliding down. Fully lined in pale yellow cotton. |
